This is my current events of New Zealand website. For school, we had to find, then rewrite some current event articles. These are the ones that I haven't lost.

A young 14-year-old boy from Waikato, New Zealand, was killed while joyriding in a stolen vehicle with some friends. Pehi Tahana had stolen the car the previous night, and police found him and gave chase. They stopped the chase because he was going onto a busy highway. The police put a strip belt down across the road of State highway 28, and as Pehi went over them, the tired exploded, causing the car to go out of control. The car crashed into a van, andPehi was crushed in half. a 15-year-old passenger was pinned in the back seat with a broken leg, holding her dying friend half-crushed in her lap. The other passenger, a 15-year-old boy was discharged from the hospital with minor injuries.
